Bareilly: Bareilly College organised a special general knowledge competition for National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers and students under the theme ‘My Dream India’ at the Department of M.Ed. on Wednesday.
A total of 60 students participated in the competition, demonstrating their knowledge and intellectual abilities. Following a closely contested competition, four participants—Satyendra, Radhika, Yogesh and Ashish Sonkar—were selected to represent the college at the upcoming district-level competition.
The event was attended by NSS Programme Officers Dr Shubhanshu Shekhar and Dr Sitaram Rajput, along with Professor Amita Gupta and Professor Ajita Singh Tiwari. Faculty members and programme officials congratulated the selected participants for their performance and encouraged them to prepare for the next stage of the competition.
The organisers said the initiative was aimed at encouraging students to broaden their general awareness while reflecting on the theme of India’s future. The participating students were also motivated to perform confidently and bring recognition to the college at the district-level contest.
